Henry L. Carroll

Henry L. Carroll is a second generational thoroughbred horse trainer, who learned the trade from his father when he was a teenager. He graduated from Newberry College with a degree in History, but his heart always belonged to the horses. Eager to get back into the training game, he obtained his racing license in 1972 and has been breaking and training horses ever since.

He has stabled and raced horses all over the country, including:

  • Aqueduct (NY)
  • Arlington (IL)
  • Atlantic City (NJ)
  • Belmont (NY)
  • Churchill Downs (KY)
  • Fair Grounds Race Course (LA)
  • Gulfstream (FL)
  • Hollywood Park (CA)
  • Monmouth Park (NJ)
  • Keeneland(KY)
  • Saratoga (NY)
  • Rockingham Park (NH)
  • Suffolk Downs (MA)
  • Woodbine (CAN)

He currently races horses (primarily) at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, NJ.
